Every year, Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo continues to develop and improve, to attract more and more visitors, from all across the country. One of Flamingo Land’s newest and most talked about rides is named Flip Flop. Flip Flop is an extreme ride, which will throw you 100 ft in the air. The new Flip Flop spinning ride pulls 5G’s at the highest speed, so it’s not one for the faint hearted. It is also reported that some of the childrens rides will also be updates.

The 2008 season sees the opening of Flamingo Lands brand new 4D cinema, (showing haunted lighthouse), along with a brand new gym and spa complex. The gym is over 16′s only and has the latest equipment, including treadmills, rowing machine, weights etc, and is open from 9am – 8pm, throughout the season. The new spa is perfect for those of you that want to pamper yourselves during your stay, as it offers treatments such as manicures, pedicures, facials and you can even choose to have a relaxing massage. You can also make use of the swimming pool (open 10am – 8pm), and sauna. There are also dance and exercise classes for all you keep fit fans.

Flamingoland Zoo is also reportedly being updated. Flamingo Land as you would expect gets extremely busy, especially in high season, therefore Flamingo Land have introduced a pre-pay system called Q Buster, which allows visitors on arrival to pre-book certain rides, this new facility uses the text facility on your mobile to notify you when the rides are free, saving you from having to queue for long periods of time. With all the new updates to the park, it will surely see the return of many previous guests as well as many new ones.
