How would masseurs?
I am in school studying to be a massage therapist and my teacher told us about all these great things he got to do- such as trips abroad to Thailand, India, China, Australia to study different massage therapy techniques. I'd like to travel abroad when I graduate but I wonder me how the hell can afford any really? How does it work? I mean, everyone is only as good as threw themselves into debt?
Not necessarily. Sure some people are irresponsible with their money and throw themselves into the debt trap. But you can do well. You must make a budget for yourself, once you get your license and start working. Make sure you save to go a certain amount each month to training. You need to have CEUs to maintain your license, and you may need to work for a few years before to build up enough clientele to help you save for the big trips. But as long as you save the money so you do not do that Travel on credit, and consult a good CPA you can deduct costs of the trips right from the taxes you can do this.
